case study

Blanca Electric Homes

Company Overview

Blanca Electric Homes is a heat pump and home electrification contractor serving rural and underserved communities in Colorado. Founded by husband-and-wife team Anne Kramer and Bobby Foley, Blanca closes the gap between urban and rural access to clean energy, helping homeowners upgrade to heat pumps and electric systems as affordably and easily as possible, so they can live comfortably in their homes.

Blanca's reputation in Colorado has been built on word of mouth and follow-through, but the brand and marketing wasn't keeping up with the quality of the work. The website described services without explaining what actually made Blanca different, and the company lacked the social proof, messaging, and content infrastructure to scale that reputation beyond personal referrals. They needed a brand and marketing foundation that would:

1) Position Blanca's rebate expertise as a core differentiator
2) Build trust with rural, low-income homeowners skeptical of contractors and "too good to be true" rebate programs
3) Create a social proof system to support referrals and lead generation

THE CHALLENGE

We collaborated to build a brand strategy and marketing foundation to clarify Blanca's positioning around its strongest asset: trust. Customer research consistently showed that the deciding factor for homeowners wasn't technology or savings, it was whether the process felt safe and legitimate.

Building on this foundation, we:

Solution

  • Launched a time-sensitive rebate awareness campaign ahead of federal rebate program deadlines, including customer emails and local social content.
  • Established a content and storytelling system the Blanca team can use to keep building social proof as the business grows.
  • Rewrote the full website, including Home, Rebates, Referral, About, and How It Works pages.
  • Built a customer stories page using testimonials from real Blanca customers to replace generic trust signals with real outcomes.
